Company History
F. Mitton Electrical was founded over 80 years ago by Mr. Frank Mitton and his wife Irene. Together they built up an extremely successful company, F. Mitton Electrical. As the years went by, following their new arrival, the business name was changed to F. Mitton & Son (Electrical). The images are the original company signage and clearly show the changes of address as they undertook expansion. The company was for many years the main electrical contractor in the Northamptonshire area.
As the years went by Frank and Irene employed a devoted, trustworthy workforce and created a work environment that become more like a family to each other. After their retirement, rather than sell the business they handed it over to a small group of loyal staff who formed a group of directors and now successfully run the company under the same name and with the same commitment and values as ever.
